I chose option #2 and decided to do furniture and electronics. For furniture I made an assortment of things, but mainly focused on beds and seating. For electronics I made some lights, lamps and a washer/dryer device. My idea was that the people haven't invented any method of containing energy in a mobile device (like a battery) and instead have to rely on wires being hooked up to everything. The materials I chose are also things you would find in a tropical island type setting. Things like wood, cotton, obsidian, igneous stone, and copper/iron.
